About the Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised Engineering Document Specialist to support manufacturing and quality operations within a fast-paced engineering environment. This role is responsible for compiling and managing Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs) for refurbished, repaired, and newly built subsea equipment, ensuring documentation accuracy, completeness, and material traceability.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional with experience in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial documentation environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Compile, review, and assemble Quality Documentation to create accurate and complete Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs)
  • Ensure full material traceability, particularly for refurbishment and repair activities
  • Maintain high standards of document accuracy, compliance, and completeness
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of documentation processes and standards
  • Assist with the transition to digital documentation systems and paperless work packs
  • Support internal audits and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities when required
  • Manage scanning, filing, archiving, and secure storage of quality records
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to support operational objectives
  • Ensure adherence to Quality, Health & Safety, and Integrity procedures and policies


Requirements

  • Previous experience within Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering Documentation, or a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and within teams
  • Proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Experience using digital document management systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
