We are looking for an experienced HR leader to take ownership of our pay and reward agenda, ensuring a coherent, compliant, and future-focused HR framework.

This is a key strategic role where you will oversee pay governance and reward frameworks, while shaping the organisation’s approach to pay, policy, and organisational change. You’ll be a trusted expert, providing senior-level advice across employee relations, job evaluation, pay structures, allowances, and workforce transformation.

Contract: Full time Permanent

Hybrid: 3 days office based

Location: Wembley, HA9

Pay: £61,663 per year.

What you’ll be doing
  • Lead the development and implementation of a fair, transparent and market-aligned pay and reward strategy
  • Oversee and strengthen pay governance frameworks, including allowances, market supplements and pay controls
  • Ensure a coherent and compliant HR policy framework, aligned with employment law and organisational priorities
  • Provide senior expertise across employee relations, job evaluation and organisational change
  • Lead and deliver high-impact HR and people strategy projects
  • Oversee pay audits and benchmarking, ensuring equitable and legally compliant outcomes
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with trade unions and senior stakeholders
  • Provide assurance and governance through data, reporting and insight-led decision making
About you

You will bring a strong track record of operating at a senior HR level with deep expertise in pay and reward.

  • Proven experience managing pay governance frameworks and reward strategies
  • Strong knowledge of pay structures, allowances, job evaluation and equal pay [Senior HR Lead JD | PDF]

  • Ability to oversee complex HR policy frameworks and ensure compliance
  • Confident working with trade unions and navigating employee relations issues
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and influence decision-making
  • CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent experience)
