About the Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide supportive, nurturing learning to pupils with complex needs
• Work 1:1 and in small groups, helping pupils access personalised learning
• Encourage communication, independence and emotional development
• Support children with autism and SLD using structured, therapeutic approaches
• Collaborate with class teachers, therapists and external professionals
• Help create a safe, consistent, and engaging classroom environment

What We're Looking For

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in:

• SEN settings, SEN schools or mainstream SEN support
• Working with pupils with autism, SLD or communication needs
• Care, support work or roles involving vulnerable children
• Early Years backgrounds or primary support roles
• Personal or voluntary experience with additional needs
