We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to join our Inclusion team as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), leading our brand-new Specialist Resource Provision set to open in September 2026. This role is ideal for a conscientious, committed individual who possesses kindness, adaptability, and initiative, essential for effectively supporting our pupils.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Specialist Resource Provision, planning and delivering both group and individual support using appropriate resources.
  • Ensure targeted intervention for pupils to improve learning outcomes in areas such as literacy, numeracy, speech and language, and social skills.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of pupil progress and liaise with staff about the needs, progress, and achievements of pupils.
  • Act as a key worker for pupils as directed, supporting their emotional and academic development.
  • Coordinate and review the SEND provision for each pupil on the SEND register on a termly basis, actively involving parents in the process.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HLTA or in a similar role, preferably within an inclusion setting.
  • Strong ability to organize and deliver educational interventions and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with SEND procedures and policies is highly advantageous.
