Recruit UK are supporting a respected wealth management company is looking to hire a Client Servicing Adviser to join its Edinburgh office due to acquisitions and growth.

This is an employed opportunity within a supportive team of around 25, offering full administrative, compliance and paraplanning support, a defined client bank from day one, and a clear pathway to take on higher value client relationships over time.

The firm prides itself on delivering holistic financial planning and long-term client outcomes, with a culture that values professionalism, accountability and internal progression.

The Opportunity

They are looking for two advisers to take on and service established client banks. The focus is on servicing and developing these relationships over the first year, before gradually taking on increasingly complex and higher value clients as capability is demonstrated.

Core Responsibilities

  • Providing ongoing holistic financial planning aligned to client objectives
  • Acting as the main point of contact for client servicing and relationship management
  • Conducting annual reviews, both face-to-face and virtually
  • Working closely with the paraplanning team to deliver technically robust and compliant advice
  • Maintaining high standards of file quality and regulatory compliance
  • Generating new business through referrals, client recommendations and professional connections
  • Contributing to the continued development of the client bank

Full paraplanning and technical support is provided. However, a clear understanding of complex financial planning report construction and suitability requirements is essential.

What They Are Looking For

  • Diploma Level 4 qualified (Chartered desired but not essential)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a client-facing regulated advice role
  • Proven experience managing and servicing client relationships
  • Commercially aware and motivated to grow a client bank
  • Experience using IFA CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Salary & Benefits
