Skilled Production Operative

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday, flexible working hours with an early finish on Fridays
Hours per week: 39
Overtime: Available at enhanced rates
Location: Close to Maidstone

We are recruiting for a well-established, successful, and growing organisation based close to Maidstone. This is a rare opportunity for a Skilled Production Operative to join the team and learn the business from the ground up, with full training and development provided to help you learn a skilled trade.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on manufacturing environment and has a genuine interest in engineering or production processes.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operating machinery within the production environment
• Assembly of products
• Supporting colleagues with a variety of production tasks
• Manual handling of materials and components
• Packing and dispatch of finished goods
• Updating customer orders on the system
• Disposing of recycling and waste products correctly
• Learning new skills and manufacturing processes
• Working safely and following all health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Eagerness to learn new techniques and machinery
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Experience using hand tools and/or machinery
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
• Interest in engineering or manufacturing processes
