Reception Teacher (Full-Time) - Start September 2026

Salary: Dependant on MPS



We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and nurturing Reception Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who has a strong understanding of early years education and is committed to providing a rich, engaging, and supportive learning environment for young children at the very start of their school journey.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the EYFS framework
  • Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support children's social, emotional, and academic development
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school


Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven knowledge and experience of the EYFS framework
  • Experience delivering or supporting Read Write Inc phonics
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children


Desirable:

  • Experience working in a Reception setting
  • A creative and flexible approach to curriculum delivery
  • A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities
