SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a vibrant and inclusive two-form entry primary school in Hackney for an experienced and enthusiastic Year 6 Teaching Assistant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled KS2 TA to join a supportive and ambitious school from Summer 2 and continue throughout the next academic year. The school is ideally located with excellent transport links, making it easily accessible from across London.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils through the important transition period into secondary education, helping to build confidence, raise attainment, and ensure children feel fully prepared for SATs and beyond.

The Role

As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils in class, in small groups, and on a 1:1 basis
• Assist with SATs preparation and booster interventions
• Help maintain a positive and focused learning environment
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider KS2 team
• Support pupils' confidence, independence, and engagement in learning

This role would suit an experienced TA who enjoys working with upper KS2 pupils and is confident supporting learning across English and Maths.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous experience supporting pupils within KS2, ideally Year 6
• Be confident supporting SATs preparation and intervention groups
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate strong written and spoken English
• Be reliable, proactive, and committed to a long-term role
• Bring positivity, patience, and enthusiasm to the classroom every day
