Role: Finance Director – Family Office (Part-Time, 2 days per week)

Based: Hinckley - good commuting links from Leicester, Warwickshire, Staffs, Notts, Derbyshire, Birmingham & Northamptonshire

Salary: £135k FTE (£54k pro-rata) / £202.5k FTE inclusive of bonuses (£81k pro-rata)


3 Point Recruitment are proud to be exclusively partnering with a Family Office based in Leicestershire with the hiring of a Part Time Finance Director.


This is a rare opportunity to join a private Family Office as Finance Director, overseeing a diverse £60m portfolio spanning investments, property, trading subsidiaries and philanthropic activity. This is a strategic, high-trust role offering long-term stability and genuine influence within a close-knit, values-driven environment.


Duties Will Include

  • Lead financial strategy, oversight and reporting across the Family Office and Investment Company
  • Manage liquidity, cashflow, budgeting and financial controls
  • Ensure tax efficiency and regulatory compliance across all entities
  • Oversee assets, investments and enterprise performance
  • Support transactions, structuring, diligence and financing
  • Modernise systems, reporting and processes (including AI-enabled tools)
  • Act as Trustee for the Family Trust & Charity Foundation
  • Serve as Company Secretary
  • Provide clear financial insight and decision support to principals
  • Work closely with external advisors across tax, legal, audit and corporate matters


Suitable Candidates Will Have / Be

  • ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified (preferably chartered)
  • Senior leadership experience in complex or multi-entity environments
  • Strong technical finance capability and commercial judgement
  • Experience across both personal / family office and business / investment matters
  • Proven track record of process improvement and modern systems adoption
  • Discreet, credible, dependable and collaborative
  • Hands-on, flexible and comfortable in a fractional role
