1:1 Teaching Assistant – EYFS (Reception)
Hours: 8:30am – 3.30pm
Contract: Summer Term

We’re looking for a Teaching Assistant (TA2) to support a child on a 1:1 basis in Reception for the rest of the summer term.

The role is supporting a non-verbal child with ASD. There are no behavioural challenges, but the child does need consistent, patient support to access the school day. The role will also include intimate care.

What the role will involve:

• Supporting the child in class on a 1:1 basis
• Helping them engage with activities and routines
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo
• Providing personal care when needed
• Creating a calm, supportive environment

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience in EYFS
• Has worked with children with ASD and/or non-verbal needs
• Is patient, calm and nurturing
• Is comfortable supporting intimate care
• Works well as part of a team
