Bid Executive (contract until January 2027)

A great opportunity for a Bid Executive to support the delivery of client and prospect bids, proposals and pitches across all Davies Group business areas.
This opportunity is a fixed-term contract which will start in late February/early March (subject to the recruitment and onboarding process) and continue until January 2027. 


Key Responsibilities
  • Work with bid team colleagues to support the coordination and production of bids, proposals and pitches that support client growth and retention across all business areas
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to understand client requirements, challenges and expectations
  • Coordinate bid response timetables to ensure stakeholders meet internal deadlines
  • Draft, edit and proof bid content as appropriate to ensure responses align to client requirements
  • Maintain relevant sections of the central library of core response materials to aid efficient drafting where appropriate
  • Drive pricing protocol to ensure pricing requirements are understood, modelled and approved
  • Support reporting of bid outcomes, live activity and pipeline movement
  • Shared monitoring and management of the central team inbox ensuring timely triage of inbound communications
  • Efficient management of incoming opportunities, to log, validate and track as appropriate with relevant subject matter experts.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • A couple of years’ experience in a Bids/Tenders role, ideally within professional services (consulting, technology) or Insurance industries. 
  • Experience of end to end Bids project management experience, beneficial
  • Strong verbal communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills with some exposure to (copy)writing/editing
  • The ability to work independently but also as part of a team, supportive to team members as required
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines and juggling multiple bids/pricing requests and support tasks
