Bookkeeper - Part Time (2 Days per week)

£32000 - £34000 Pro-Rata

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a part time basis, working 2 days per week, and support the smooth financial running of the business. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working independently, highly organised, and experienced in producing accurate monthly financial information.

You’ll have the flexibility to work from home, with the option of a hybrid arrangement based in our Greenock office.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero
• Manage Reverse Vat process
• Run monthly payroll and maintain employee records
• Produce monthly management accounts
• Prepare cash flow projections and support financial planning
• Manage purchase orders, supplier invoices, and payment runs
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and control accounts
• Support year-end preparation for accountants
• Provide financial insights to support operational decision-making

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Proven bookkeeping experience
• Strong working knowledge of Xero
• Experience with CIS and Reverse Vat
• Confidence producing monthly accounts and cash flow reports
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
• Desire to work on a part time basis, starting at 2 days per week
