About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable and proactive Corporate Services Officer (Projects & Governance to provide trusted, high-level support to the Chief Executive Officer and senior leadership team. This is a pivotal role combining classic executive support with project coordination, business improvement, and organisational development.

The successful candidate will be confident working at pace, comfortable handling sensitive information, and motivated by taking ownership of initiatives from concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for the CEO, managing correspondence, enquiries, and requests with professionalism and discretion
  • Provide comprehensive diary management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and preparation of briefing papers, agendas, minutes, and actions
  • Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and briefing materials to tight deadlines

Business & Project Support

  • Develop initial ideas into fully formed plans, initiatives, or outputs with minimal supervision
  • Coordinate business development and strategic projects, ensuring progress tracking and timely delivery
  • Create, review, and improve policies, procedures, and corporate documentation in line with best practice

Organisational Support

  • Monitor organisational objectives and ensure initiatives remain on track
  • Coordinate responses to Subject Access Requests in line with data protection legislation
  • Manage a varied workload effectively, anticipating needs and resolving issues proactively
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with sound judgement at all times

About You

Essential

  • Proven experience supporting senior executives in a similar role
  • Strong experience managing complex diaries, competing priorities, and tight deadlines
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Outstanding written skills, with confidence preparing reports, presentations, and formal documentation
  • High level of professional integrity and discretion

Desirable

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience
  • Background in business improvement or project coordination
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations and Subject Access Requests
  • Experience within a charity, voluntary, or international environment
  • Project management qualifications and familiarity with collaboration tools

  • Strong IT capability, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Adobe tools

Additional Information

Your primary place of work will be based in Stratford-upon-Avon. Occasional travel and attendance at meetings or events outside standard working hours may be required.
