About the Role

RSR Education are currently recruiting for Youth Workers and Mentors to work within schools across Lambeth.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to transition into education or continue making a positive impact in a school environment.

You will be supporting students with social, emotional and behavioural needs, helping them to engage positively and succeed in their education.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students
• Support behaviour management and engagement strategies
• Build positive and professional relationships with students
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning support
• Encourage attendance, participation, and personal development

Person Specification

• Experience working with young people (youth work, mentoring, support work, or similar)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner
• Resilient, patient, and proactive approach
• A genuine passion for supporting young people

Compliance Requirements

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
• Two satisfactory references
