Maintenance Manager / Lead Engineer (Electrical Bias)

We're recruiting a hands-on Maintenance Manager / Lead Engineer to join a well-established food production business. This is a great opportunity for an electrically biased engineer ready to step into (or continue in) a leadership role while staying actively involved on the tools.

The Role

• Lead and support a small team of 2 engineers
• 70/30 split - electrically biased, hands-on role
• Maintain and troubleshoot:
  • Sensors, relays, and drives
  • Single & three-phase motors
  • Food production machinery
• Drive reliability and continuous improvement across the site

Requirements

• Electrical qualifications (essential)
• Food/FMCG manufacturing background (essential)
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
• Comfortable leading a small team while remaining hands-on

Training & Progression

• Some training provided
• Limited progression structure currently, but opportunity to shape the role

Package

• Salary: £49,000 - £52,000
• Hours: 7am - 4pm (flexibility required)
• Shift Pattern: Days only
• Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
• Pension: NEST scheme
• Healthcare: Available after 1 year
• Overtime/Shift Allowance: None
