Audit Assistant Manager

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering audits across a diverse portfolio of clients, while also supporting the development of junior team members and contributing to the overall success of the audit function.

You will:

• Plan, lead and complete audit assignments from start to finish
• Manage onsite audit fieldwork and ensure delivery against deadlines and budgets
• Supervise and review the work of junior team members, providing constructive feedback
• Draft financial statements and management reports
• Identify risks and recommend improvements to client systems and controls
• Manage workflow and contribute to team development and performance
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

About You

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Proven experience in audit within a practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage multiple assignments
• Experience of leading small teams and mentoring junior staff
• Confident working in a digital audit environment (experience with audit software preferred)
• Full UK driving licence and access to transport
