This Senior Account Manager opportunity would suit a strong commercial insurance professional who enjoys the client side, knows the market and wants a genuine leadership role.


The opportunity

  • You'll manage a client services team while staying hands-on with renewals, MTAs and new business. It is a broad role with real influence across service, standards and team performance.


What you'll be doing

  • Lead and support a team to deliver against KPIs and service standards
  • Manage workloads, absence and day-to-day resource planning
  • Oversee renewals, MTAs and new business enquiries
  • Prepare insurer submissions and negotiate terms, premium and income
  • Review market feedback and present suitable recommendations to clients
  • Provide ongoing advice and arrange cover in line with client instructions
  • Ensure accurate documentation, strong record keeping and FCA-compliant processes
  • Build strong relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues
  • Support debt management and flag any market or service concerns


Who this could suit

  • An experienced Commercial Broker stepping into a bigger leadership role
  • A current Senior Account Manager looking for a stronger platform
  • Someone who can balance people management with technical broking expertise
  • Dip CII or ACII qualified, or working towards it, would be an advantage
