Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Chelmsford - Start Date ASAP

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Chelmsford, starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping pupils with their learning, confidence, and classroom engagement.

The school is looking for a patient, proactive practitioner with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to support young learners of varying abilities.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location - Chelmsford

• Position - Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

• Type of work - Classroom support & 1:1/Small-group assistance

• Start date - ASAP

• Duration - Ongoing / Long-term

• Full time/part-time - Full time

• Minimum rate of pay - £100-£120 per day

• Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting

• Understanding of classroom support strategies and differentiation

• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A positive, supportive approach to learning

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

• Provide two professional child-related references
