We are currently working with a well-established, international business to recruit an Internal Account Support professional to join a busy and collaborative customer support team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering a high standard of service, managing multiple customer accounts, and ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time. The position is predominantly email-based, with occasional telephone calls and online meetings.

The role

As Internal Account Support, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts from order receipt through to fulfilment, ensuring a consistently high level of service throughout the process. You will play a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting on-time, in-full delivery performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing customer inboxes for new orders, amendments and general enquiries
  • Entering and revising orders within an MRP/operating system
  • Monitoring open orders through the fulfilment process and escalating issues where required
  • Coordinating deliveries to multiple global locations, including direct-to-site and via third-party providers
  • Producing order-specific documentation and updating customers on order status
  • Updating customer price lists and supporting part obsolescence processes
  • Liaising with internal teams to support service levels and delivery targets
  • Contributing to key metrics such as On Time In Full (OTIF) and order accuracy
  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of team SOPs and internal documentation

The role is office-based, with occasional visits to a warehouse environment.

About you

You will be highly organised, customer-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced, order-driven environment.

We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Experience in customer service, internal sales support or order processing
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience using MRP, CRM or similar systems
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of spreadsheets
  • An understanding of B2B environments and order fulfilment processes
  • Awareness of third-party logistics or supply chain operations (desirable)
