Procurement & Logistics Coordinator (12-Month FTC – Maternity Cover)
Location: Milton Park, Abingdon (Onsite – potential for 4 days onsite / 1 day hybrid after training)
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

About the Role
Our client is an innovative and fast-growing organisation working on cutting-edge technology with real-world impact. They are seeking a Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting procurement operations and end-to-end logistics within a highly technical environment. You will help maintain systems, support capital projects, and ensure efficient sourcing and delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase orders and maintain data within the ERP system (NetSuite)
- Set up and manage supplier information
- Monitor and manage stock levels, including critical spares
- Support sourcing activities across the business
- Coordinate and track logistics processes end-to-end
- Receive goods/services both physically and within internal systems
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Provide general procurement and administrative support to the team
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement within an industrial/technical environment
- Experience with order placement, expediting, and logistics coordination
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Exposure to supporting supplier negotiations
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting projects and multi-tasking across priorities
Desirable Skills
- Understanding of UK procurement standards and regulations
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international logistics
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Adaptable, proactive, and customer-focused approach
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Additional Information
This role is primarily onsite in Milton Park, with flexibility to move to a hybrid pattern (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) following successful onboarding.
