Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be supporting a well-established FE College in Bolton in their search for a permanent Head of Health & Social Care to join their leadership team from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced curriculum leader or an ambitious Health & Social Care educator ready to take the next step into middle leadership.

The college is looking for a passionate and driven individual who can lead and develop the department, drive high standards of teaching and learning, and support students in achieving excellent outcomes.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience teaching Health & Social Care within an FE or secondary setting
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
• Have previous experience in a leadership role or show clear readiness to step into a Head of Department position
• Be committed to raising achievement and delivering an engaging curriculum
• Hold relevant teaching qualifications and ideally have experience within further education
