Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience of PLC systems & Automated Machinery
• Understanding of PPM Systems

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies, within a PPM & TPM system. The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer. On a day to day basis, you will work on high speed conveyors and mechanical engineering equipment. You will also work with some equipment including gearboxes, materials handling machinery, general mechanical work, and other distribution/manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
