SEN Teaching Assistant - Norwich - September Start

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, specialist SEN school in Norwich from September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting pupils with a range of additional needs in a nurturing, structured, and highly supportive environment.

The school is looking for a patient, resilient, and compassionate practitioner with a genuine commitment to helping children with SEND thrive both academically and emotionally.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location - Norwich

• Position - SEN Teaching Assistant

• Type of work - SEN support within a specialist SEN school

• Start date - September

• Duration - Ongoing / Long-term

• Full time/part-time - Full time (Monday to Friday)

• Minimum rate of pay - £110-£120 per day

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience supporting children with SEND in a UK school setting (SEN school experience desirable)

• Understanding of strategies for supporting pupils with complex needs, ASD, SEMH, or MLD/SLD

• Relevant SEN or TA training beneficial

• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

• Provide two professional child-related references
