This is an excellent opportunity to use your previous experience and qualifications to lead as the Head of Revenue accounts in this hybrid role working for local government.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for a team of 25 accounts and finance systems staff
• To manage and coordinate the delivery of the annual revenue budget process
• Lead the provision of an effective finance business partnering service to the organisation
• Prepare and monitor reports working to agreed timescales
• Engagement and collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Report to colleagues and members through directorate management teams, oversight boards and overview and scrutiny committees.

Essential Requirements:

• Significant experience in a senior finance role
• A relevant professional accountancy qualification (preferably CIPFA)
• Previous experience of financial management or audit processes within local government or a similar environment
• Experience of leading and managing a team

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (37 hours per week)

Hybrid work style - working part from home and part in the office at Chatham

Salary: £63,280 per annum plus allowance of £5769 per annum
