Contract Type: Temporary/Locum

Salary: £45 to £55ph

• Locum requirement in residential conveyancing team of long standing high street firm.
• Cover required for period of summer holidays - Circa mid July to end August 2026
• On site working required.
• Usual high street Residential Property Law work, including sales and purchases of freehold/leasehold land.

Our client, a well regarded high street law firm in North East Somerset, is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to assist with some locum cover over the busy summer period.

Position Overview

The Residential Conveyancer will play a crucial role in assisting the firm through a busy period. The requirement is fully on site as the systems and files are still heavily paper based, but working hours can be full or part time and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Manage a variety of residential property law work.
• Communicate effectively with clients, agents, and stakeholders.
• Ensure timely completion of legal documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years' PQE as a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive (or otherwise qualified by experience) in Residential Property Law.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and client service abilities.
