At Teaching Personnel, we are working closely with a vibrant and innovative local Multi-Academy Trust to recruit a dedicated Resource Base Teacher for a full-time position at a local school in the B16 Area commencing in September.

We are seeking a passionate and qualified educator who is looking for the consistency, progression, and rewards of a full-time teaching role within a supportive school environment where children’s learning, development, and wellbeing are at the heart of everything.

The successful candidate will be a highly skilled and reflective practitioner, committed to delivering exceptional SEND provision and achieving the very best outcomes for all pupils. As a teacher within the resource base, you will work collaboratively with school staff and the School Improvement Team to deliver an ambitious and bespoke curriculum that successfully meets pupils’ individual needs and enables them to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances.

We welcome applications from both experienced SEND practitioners and teachers from mainstream settings who have a genuine passion for Special Educational Needs and a proven track record of supporting pupils with SEND. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, resilient, and committed to contributing positively to the inclusive ethos and culture of the school community.

Experience working with children with additional needs within a Primary or Early Years setting is essential. A strong understanding of communication and interaction needs, particularly Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), is highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
