A small and friendly Accountancy practice based in Harrow is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team on a full-time, on-site basis.

This role would suit someone with at least 5 years’ experience working in a UK accountancy practice, with strong experience preparing statutory accounts and liaising directly with clients.

• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies
• Preparing accounts for sole traders and partnerships
• Preparing corporation tax returns and personal tax returns
• Liaising directly with clients and handling queries professionally
• Reviewing bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts where required
• Managing deadlines and ensuring work is completed accurately and on time
• Supporting junior team members where needed

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
• Strong experience preparing statutory accounts
• Confident liaising with clients directly
• ACCA, ACA or AAT qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
• Good knowledge of UK tax and compliance requirements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Professional communication skills
