Part-Time | 22.5 hours per week (hours negotiable - 3 full days or split over 5 days)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly accurate and organised Typist / Administrator to support a Surveying team on a part-time basis.

This role is primarily focused on typing, audio transcription, and document production, ensuring valuation reports and surveys are completed accurately, professionally, and within required timescales.

You will play a key role in supporting surveyors through the production of high-quality written documentation and maintaining efficient administrative processes within a busy office environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately type valuation reports, letters, and invoices from digital audio dictation using standard templates
  • Ensure high levels of accuracy, formatting consistency, and attention to detail in all typed documents
  • Use property software and online systems to support the preparation of valuation reports and surveys
  • Monitor systems daily for outstanding instructions and update accordingly
  • Book appointments from instructions received via email, telephone, or property platforms
  • Manage and maintain surveyor diaries
  • Create and maintain property files, ensuring all relevant documentation is correctly stored
  • Draft standard correspondence to clients, including terms, questionnaires, and payment requests
  • Obtain and input property information from online sources into reports
  • Handle incoming calls and emails in surveyor absence, taking accurate messages where required
  • Liaise with lenders regarding postcode availability and related queries
  • Maintain accurate records in line with data protection requirements
  • Support wider team members when required
  • Carry out general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and photocopying
