A leading global professional services firm is seeking a senior Business Development leader to support a top-tier Antitrust, Competition & Trade practice on an 8-month fixed-term contract.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role working closely with senior partners to shape go-to-market strategy, drive client growth, and elevate the profile of a globally recognised practice across the UK, Europe, the US and Asia.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and deliver focused BD and marketing strategies for London-based partners, with international reach
- Act as a trusted adviser to partners on client targeting, growth opportunities and pitch strategy
- Own high-value pitches, credentials and RFP responses, including fast-turnaround and global bids
- Drive client feedback, key account initiatives and market intelligence
- Oversee thought leadership, campaigns, events, directories and awards submissions
- Leverage Salesforce and GenAI tools to enhance insight, efficiency and reporting
- Manage and develop two direct reports within a collaborative global team
- Support lateral partner integration and continuous improvement across BD activity
About you
- Senior BD professional from a professional services environment (legal preferred)
- Strong experience supporting regulatory, antitrust, litigation or complex advisory practices
- Commercial, confident and credible with senior stakeholders
- Highly organised, resilient and comfortable operating at pace
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent with digital tools, CRM systems and practical AI applications
- People-focused leader with a coaching mindset
- Additional languages advantageous
