Our client is looking for a Customer & Administrative Support Officer to join their busy and supportive team.

This is a key role providing telephone and administrative support to ensure the smooth processing of medical report requests for individuals applying for or claiming on insurance policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling inbound and outbound calls, emails, and system-based communication with GP surgeries and insurance companies

Proactively chasing GP surgeries for updates and progress on outstanding medical reports

Processing and managing medical reports, case notes, and invoices with a high level of accuracy

Entering new instructions onto internal systems and ensuring all data is recorded correctly

Monitoring case progress and ensuring cases are managed efficiently from start to finish

Responding to queries from GP surgeries and insurers in a timely and professional manner

Following up on outstanding reports via telephone, email, and written communication

Maintaining daily targets and service level agreements (SLAs)

Updating and maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office and internal systems

Uploading and correctly filing medical reports

Processing invoices, checking payment details, and resolving payment queries

Providing general administrative support to ensure smooth team operations

Working in line with quality and information security standards (ISO 9001 & ISO 27001)

Maintaining confidentiality at all times

About You:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

High attention to detail and accuracy

Able to manage your own workload and meet deadlines

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

A team player with a flexible and adaptable approach

Confident handling routine decisions and escalating where appropriate
