Description

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial reports and records.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice processing.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
• Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and internal controls.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as required by the team.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, and accounts management.
• Proficiency with accounting software, SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• An understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
