Recruitment Delivery Team Leader

The Recruitment Delivery Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing end-to-end recruitment delivery across key client accounts, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and efficient hiring outcomes. The role provides day-to-day operational leadership to the recruitment delivery team, supports offshore recruitment functions, and acts as a key escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders. The postholder ensures that recruitment processes, systems, and service levels are consistently met while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Delivery & Operational Management

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition to placement, including sourcing strategy, shortlisting, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Lead high-volume and time-critical recruitment projects, ensuring delivery within agreed SLAs and client expectations.
  • Manage temporary onboarding processes, including compliance checks, BPSS requirements, and umbrella company transitions.
  • Support more complex or technical recruitment needs, providing hands-on delivery where required.
  • Monitor job flow through systems such as Bridge, ensuring accuracy of job details, pay rates, start dates, and compliance information.

Team Leadership & Support

  • Provide daily support, guidance, and training to the recruitment delivery team to ensure they have the tools and knowledge to perform effectively.
  • Work closely with offshore recruitment teams, ensuring alignment, quality, and consistent communication.
  • Conduct calibration sessions, quality checks, and refresher training to maintain high standards of candidate submissions.
  • Manage workload distribution, prioritisation, and performance across the team during volume spikes or project demands.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key point of contact for client escalations, queries, and service issues.
  • Build strong relationships with account managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Manage expectations around timelines, market challenges, and fulfilment risks, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

Process, Systems & Compliance

  • Maintain and oversee live recruitment trackers to ensure visibility, accuracy, and effective workflow management.
  • Ensure all recruitment activity is compliant with internal policies, client requirements, and legislative standards.
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Support audits, reporting, and data accuracy across recruitment systems.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience managing end-to-end recruitment delivery in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, including offshore functions, with a focus on quality, consistency, and performance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, onboarding processes, and recruitment systems.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • Data-driven approach with experience using trackers, SLAs, and reporting tools.
