Financial Adviser – Middlesbrough (Hybrid / Flexible Working)

Salary: £45,000–£55,000 + bonuses (OTE £80k+) Hybrid Working: Fully flexible – office optional depending on preference Firm Type: Regional, well-respected financial planning firm with strong infrastructure and loyal clients

A genuinely attractive opportunity for advisers wanting stability, quality clients and strong earnings

This is a superb opportunity for a Financial Adviser who wants security, a warm client bank, and a supportive environment without the pressure of cold-lead chasing or unrealistic targets.

You’ll join a respected regional firm with a strong presence across Teesside and the wider North East. They offer a mix of existing clients and new enquiries, excellent back-office support, and a culture that prioritises quality advice over volume.

If you’re looking for a role where you can grow your earnings, develop professionally and enjoy long-term stability, this is the kind of move that makes sense.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of existing clients while also benefiting from new leads generated through the firm’s strong marketing and referral channels. Your role will include:

  • Managing and developing an existing client bank with long-standing relationships
  • Conducting full financial reviews and delivering holistic advice
  • Working closely with paraplanners and administrators who handle research, reports and case processing
  • Meeting clients both face-to-face and remotely, depending on preference
  • Identifying planning opportunities across pensions, investments, protection and tax-efficient strategies
  • Ensuring all advice is compliant, well-documented and aligned with FCA requirements
  • Building long-term relationships and delivering a high-quality client experience

This is a role where you can genuinely focus on advice, relationships and client outcomes, not admin.

Support, development & progression

The firm invests heavily in adviser development and offers:

  • A full paraplanning and admin team to support you end-to-end
  • A steady stream of qualified leads from marketing, referrals and professional introducers
  • Opportunities to work with HNW clients as your portfolio grows
  • Support towards Chartered status if you want it
  • Clear progression into Senior Adviser or Team Lead roles
  • Regular CPD, technical workshops and access to high-quality training

If you want to build a long-term, stable career with increasing earnings, this firm will back you.

What they’re looking for
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (or very close to completion)
  • Experience providing regulated financial advice
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a client-first mindset
  • Someone who values quality over volume
  • A confident communicator who can work independently and collaboratively
  • A desire for stability, long-term growth and a supportive environment

This role suits advisers who want to focus on advice, not admin, and who value a firm that treats clients — and staff — with care.

What you’ll get in return
  • £45,000–£55,000 base salary
  • OTE £80k+ with realistic, achievable bonuses
  • Flexible hybrid working — no rigid office requirements
  • A warm, established client bank
  • Strong, consistent lead flow
  • Full paraplanning and admin support
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Support with further qualifications
  • A stable, friendly, growing firm with an excellent reputation
