Job Title: Polish Payroll Specialist Lead

Location: Poland - Remote

Salary: 171,000 PLN

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Polish Payroll Specialist Lead to take ownership of end-to-end in-house payroll operations for Poland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a leadership capacity and is confident managing complex payroll processes while ensuring full compliance with local legislation.

You will play a pivotal role in overseeing payroll delivery, driving process improvements, and acting as the subject matter expert for Polish payroll within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end in-house Polish payroll process
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in line with local regulations
• Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries and escalations
• Maintain compliance with Polish payroll legislation, tax, and social security requirements
• Oversee payroll data validation, reconciliation, and reporting
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders where required
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy
• Support audits and ensure all payroll documentation is accurate and up to date
• Provide guidance and leadership within the payroll function

Skills & Experience

• Proven end-to-end in-house Polish payroll experience (essential)
• Strong knowledge of Polish payroll legislation and compliance requirements
• Must have Fluent English language skills.
• Hands-on experience using Symfonia payroll software (essential)
• Previous experience in a lead or senior payroll role
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
