We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and support the continued growth of our Stevenage office. This role offers the opportunity to work with a varied portfolio across multiple sectors while mentoring and developing junior team members.

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring delivery to deadlines and budget
• Lead and plan audit assignments from initial planning through to completion
• Review audit files, financial statements, and supporting documentation
• Ensure compliance with UK auditing standards and regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact
• Identify opportunities for added-value services and cross-selling
• Supervise, mentor, and develop audit seniors and trainees
• Liaise with partners on engagement progress, risks, and technical matters
• Support business development activities and proposals

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Significant audit experience within a UK practice environment
• Proven experience managing audit assignments and teams
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
• Experience with owner-managed businesses and SMEs (desirable)
