We are partnering with a high-growth, venture-backed fintech that is redefining how businesses access capital and manage cash flow through embedded financial solutions.

Operating at the intersection of payments, lending, and SaaS infrastructure, this business enables platforms to offer seamless access to non-dilutive funding and financial tools directly within their ecosystems. With strong recent growth, institutional backing, and an expanding global footprint, they are entering a critical phase of regulatory maturity.

As such, they are seeking an experienced Fractional MLRO to support on a flexible, interim basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the nominated MLRO, overseeing the AML/CTF frameworks and regulatory obligations
• Lead of SAR reporting, internal escalation processes and financial crime governance
• provide strategic oversight of AML policies, controls and risk assessments
• Support engagement with regulators and ensure ongoing compliance with UK regulatory expectations
• Advice senior leadership on financial crime risk in a fast-scaling fintech environment

Ideal Profile:

• Proven experience operating as an MLRO (or Deputy MLRO) within fintech, payments, or lending environments
• Strong understanding of UK AML regulations and FCA expectations
• Experience within high-growth or scaling businesses, ideally with embedded finance or alternative lending exposure
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on, advisory capacity within a dynamic environment
