We are currently working with a large, specialised service provider in the West Midlands who are looking for a high-calibre Financial Controller to take ownership of financial reporting, strengthen governance, and drive meaningful change across Finance. Sitting at the heart of the organisation, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accuracy, insight, and control.
Working closely with the Finance Director and senior leadership, you’ll act as a trusted expert and strategic partner, bringing clarity to complex financial matters and raising the bar across processes, systems, and performance.
Financial Controller Key Responsibilities:
Be the go to expert on technical accounting, guiding the business through new standards and complex issues
Drive a best in class month-end close, delivering accurate, insightful reporting at pace
Take full ownership of year end reporting, including the Annual Report & Accounts and Performance Report
Transform capitalisation processes, improving rigour, transparency, and outcomes
Build and inspire a high-performing team, creating a culture of accountability and collaboration
