Our client is looking for an organised and detail-oriented individual to join their team in Maidenhead in a varied administration and repair coordination role.
This position combines administration, customer support, product assessment, and hands-on repair coordination. It would suit someone with previous office experience who also enjoys practical tasks and has an interest in DIY, repairs, or stitching.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Coordination
Manage repair administration from assessment through to completion and dispatch
Maintain accurate records and quality control documentation
Coordinate repair workflows and monitor items awaiting parts
Liaise with internal departments including the workshop and customer support teams
Support customers and clients with repair-related queries
Ensure all dispatch paperwork and labelling is completed accurately
Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors when parts require ordering
Ensure compliance with company procedures and data protection regulations
Support the wider team with additional administrative duties as required
Luggage Assessment & Repair Support
Assess luggage to determine:
Authenticity of items
Whether repairs can be completed in line with manufacturer standards
The level of repair required
Carry out basic repair work and support repair processes where required
Ensure repairs are completed using approved methods and genuine parts
Assist with identifying parts required and estimated repair times
Package completed items ready for return to customers, stores, and clients
Person Specification
The successful candidate will have:
Previous administration or office-based experience
Good MS Office skills
Strong organisational and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
A practical mindset with an interest in DIY, repairs, crafts, or stitching
The ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment
Previous repair experience is not essential, as training will be provided, however a genuine interest in practical or hands-on work would be highly beneficial.
