We are urgently recruiting for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Completions Assistant to join a well-established and employee-owned law firm in Burgess Hill on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone immediately available and looking for a busy, fast-paced temp role within a supportive Residential Property team. There is also potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.
Key Duties:
Managing completions and post-completion processes
Preparing completion statements
Requesting and handling mortgage advance monies
SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
Carrying out pre-completion checks
Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents, and solicitors
Supporting shared ownership transactions
What We’re Looking For:
Previous residential conveyancing experience
Experience handling completions/post completions
Strong organisational and communication skills
Knowledge of SDLT and Land Registry procedures
Ability to hit the ground running in a busy environment
