Associate Solicitor

Stride Resource Management

This Associate role is positioned for someone who knows the insurance-led personal injury space and wants to operate with a bit more authority. Less noise. Fewer layers. More control over your work.

You'll be stepping into a team that sits close to the insurance market, handling higher value and more complex claims where your judgement actually matters. This isn't about supervision-heavy environments or rigid structures. It's about experienced people doing good work properly.

As an Associate, you'll take ownership of a varied caseload, likely including litigated and multi-track matters, with the autonomy to manage strategy, risk and progression. You'll also have the opportunity to influence how cases are handled, not just follow a set path.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing a caseload of complex personal injury claims, including litigated work
  • Taking strategic ownership of files from instruction through to resolution
  • Assessing liability, causation and quantum with a commercial insurance mindset
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements and key legal documentation
  • Liaising directly with insurers, counsel and other stakeholders
  • Supporting on technical queries and offering guidance within the team where appropriate

What they're looking for:

  • Proven experience operating at Associate level or ready to step into it
  • Strong background in personal injury, ideally within an insurance-linked environment
  • Confident handling of litigated and higher value claims
  • Ability to manage files independently and make sound decisions
  • Commercial awareness and a practical approach to risk
  • Clear, credible communicator who can deal with clients and insurers alike

What's on offer:

  • Salary between £60,000 and £90,000 depending on experience
  • High-quality, complex work rather than volume-driven caseloads
  • A credible platform within the insurance-focused legal market
  • Autonomy to run your work without unnecessary interference
  • Long-term progression within a stable and well-regarded team

This Associate opportunity will suit someone who's comfortable with responsibility and wants to operate in a setting where that's recognised.

If you're already working in the insurance legal space and want a role that gives you more control, better quality work and a clearer path forward, this is a move worth considering
