We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Spanish to join a thriving and ambitious secondary school in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity for both ECTs and experienced teachers who are enthusiastic about languages and committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.

You will play a key role in inspiring pupils to develop confidence and cultural awareness through Spanish, while contributing positively to a supportive and forward-thinking department.

The Role

As a Teacher of Spanish, you will:

• Teach Spanish across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities where appropriate)
• Deliver engaging, creative and well-structured lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners through effective differentiation
• Use assessment for learning strategies to track progress and raise attainment
• Promote excellent standards of behaviour, effort and achievement
• Act as a Form/Tutor, supporting pupils’ academic progress and personal development
• Contribute to curriculum development, resources and enrichment activities
• Work collaboratively within the MFL department and the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate

You will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Spanish language and culture
• Evidence (or clear potential) of delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• Effective classroom management skills and high expectations of pupils
• A clear understanding of how young people learn and how to support progress
