KS3/4 ENGLISH TEACHER

Prospero Teaching are looking for a English teacher for a long term role, starting April 2026. You will be responsible for teaching English, both to KS3 and KS4. This position is a long-term role.
The position is open to NQT's/ECT's and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.
Our school is set in stunning countryside and is easily accessible by road (M61, A666) and has excellent bus and train links. This role is ideal for colleagues based anywhere in Lancashire and we have worked with this school since 2007.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
English Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher
UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
Previous experience working in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
