This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Operations, Commercial and Finance ideal for someone who understands how products are built, costed and delivered, and enjoys turning technical and manufacturing detail into commercially robust pricing models and business insight.

Analyse Bills of Materials (BoM), routings, labour standards and manufacturing data to improve pricing accuracy

Support bid and proposal activity by producing robust cost justification and commercial analysis

Carry out variance analysis comparing estimated vs actual costs to improve future costing accuracy

Work closely with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure operational realities are reflected within pricing models

Identify commercial, operational and compliance risks within costing and pricing assumptions

Support supplier cost analysis and negotiation activity alongside sourcing teams

Drive continuous improvement across costing, pricing and operational analysis processes, including SAP S4/HANA optimisation initiatives

Contribute to improving data quality, pricing consistency and commercial decision-making across the business
