Global Talent Professionals is currently seeking experienced Diesel Motor & Specialist Mechanics – Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) to join a growing industrial and equipment maintenance operation in Perth, Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and evaluate diesel-powered machinery and equipment
  • Service, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Work on Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP), telehandlers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and lighting towers
  • Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections to ensure operational readiness
  • Diagnose and repair diesel and gas engines, transmissions, and air brake systems
  • Dismantle, repair, and reassemble engines and mechanical components
  • Test and adjust repaired components to ensure performance and reliability
  • Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas in a safe condition
  • Follow Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures and site requirements
  • Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and team activities
  • Support apprentice development and team operations where required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Diesel Motor Mechanic or Specialist Mechanic
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic capability
  • Proven experience working on MEWP equipment, boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, telehandlers, generators, and industrial machinery
  • Ability to diagnose faults using manual and computer-based diagnostic tools
  • Strong understanding of safety and operational procedures
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to provide employment documentation supporting experience and qualifications
  • International industry experience highly regarded
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or within a team environment
