Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum

Working arrangements: Monday to Friday / 8:30am - 5pm, hybrid working provided after probation

Location: Rainham, Essex

We are partnering with a well-established, high-growth organisation to recruit a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager into a pivotal, business-facing finance role.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Finance Controller, this role sits as a key member of the finance team and acts as the analytical engine of the business. You will lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis activities across multiple UK sites.

You will play a crucial role in supporting strategic decision-making, working closely with senior stakeholders across Sales and Operations, and providing insight that drives business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes
  • Manage the annual budgeting cycle aligned to strategic objectives
  • Deliver detailed variance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Produce high-quality financial reporting and board-level presentations
  • Develop and maintain financial models and KPI dashboards
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide actionable financial insights
  • Support strategic initiatives through financial modelling and scenario analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement within FP&A processes and reporting tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support commercial and operational decision-making
  • Assist the Finance Controller with ad-hoc strategic and operational projects

About You

We are looking for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and is keen to take on a highly visible role.

You will bring:

  • Experience in FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, or Management Accounting
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and communicate insights effectively
  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivots, lookups, and modelling)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience managing or mentoring team members (desirable)
