As a Human Resources Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the wider HR team, providing comprehensive and high-quality HR support across the employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for managing a varied and often complex workload, ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently while delivering a responsive and professional service to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume and complex employee relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues
• Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on HR policies, employment law, and best practice
• Support and lead on end-to-end HR case management, ensuring timely and compliant resolution
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted HR partner across the business
• Assist in developing and improving HR processes to support a fast-paced and evolving environment
• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation in line with GDPR requirements
• Support wider HR initiatives, including organisational change, engagement, and wellbeing programmes

• Proven experience supporting a fast-paced HR team within a busy environment
• Demonstrable experience managing complex employee relations cases independently
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively
• Proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused approach
