Marketing Director

Location: Liverpool / Hybrid

Salary: £90,000 + £5,000 car allowance

We are working with a leading operator within the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation sector to recruit an experienced Marketing Director. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving occupancy, brand performance and commercial success across a large, multi-site portfolio.

This position offers the opportunity to shape marketing strategy at scale, working closely with senior stakeholders while leading a high-performing team.

The role

• Develop and deliver the overall marketing strategy aligned to business and portfolio objectives

• Drive occupancy through effective acquisition and retention campaigns

• Lead marketing activity across a large, multi-site national portfolio

• Balance brand consistency with local market and asset-level requirements

• Build and manage key stakeholder relationships, presenting strategy and performance updates

• Lead, inspire and develop a multi-disciplinary marketing team

• Oversee digital channels including CRM, paid media, SEO and marketing automation

• Use data and analytics to inform decision-making and improve performance

• Maintain brand standards across all customer touchpoints

• Manage the marketing budget with a focus on ROI and commercial outcomes

About you

• Proven senior marketing leadership experience within PBSA or a related sector

• Strong track record of driving occupancy and commercial performance

• Experience managing multi-site or portfolio marketing strategies

• Confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders

• Strong understanding of digital marketing and data-led decision making

• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills

• Commercially focused and comfortable managing multiple priorities
