The Head of Supplier Relationship Management will lead a supplier relations function that directly shapes the quality of service thousands of people receive every day at the heart of its Operations and will be responsible for building a best-in-class supplier management capability.

The Opportunity
The Head of Supplier Relationship Management will oversee significant service-based spend across multiple partners —  ensuring strong performance, greater resilience and continuous innovation.
Some of the key areas of responsibility will be:
  • Shape and deliver the organisation’s supplier relations strategy, elevating the impact of external partners on customer and service outcomes.
  • Lead, coach and grow a developing team, embedding strong SRM practices and raising capability.
  • Drive supplier performance through clear SLAs, KPIs and improvement plans.
  • Reduce single-supplier risk and strengthen operational resilience.
  • Introduce new partners, propositions and technologies — including digital and AI-enabled solutions — working closely with internal teams to enhance service delivery.

About You
The successful Head of Supplier Relationship Management will bring experience leading supplier- or partnership management and a proven track record of delivery within a regulated services environment (e.g. insurance, financial services or healthcare). You’re commercially astute, an experienced supplier relationship manager and a strategic thinker — a leader who can set direction while remaining hands-on. You engage stakeholders with honesty and clarity and you thrive in cultures that value collaboration and impact.
