Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist setting from September 2026.

The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, speech and language needs, and moderate learning difficulties. Staff are committed to creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment where every student can succeed.

We are looking for a teacher who is patient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people with additional needs both academically and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
• Support students with EHCPs and additional behavioural needs
• Build positive and consistent relationships with pupils
• Create a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
• Work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents
• Track progress and contribute to student development plans

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Has experience working within SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision settings
• Understands strategies to support pupils with additional needs
• Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills
• Is resilient, empathetic, and committed to student progress
• Can adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
