Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

Reed Accountancy are partnering with a growing, investment-backed business near Saltford to recruit a Credit Controller to support their expanding finance function.

This is a great opportunity to join a business going through a period of growth, where you will play a key role in managing accounts receivable activities, improving processes and supporting overall cashflow performance. The position offers strong exposure within a collaborative finance team and the chance to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily sales ledger activities and credit control processes
• Actively follow up on outstanding balances through various communication channels
• Analyse aged debt reports and identify potential risks or recovery actions
• Ensure accurate posting and reconciliation of incoming payments
• Investigate and resolve billing queries in a timely manner
• Review customer credit limits and payment behaviours, escalating where required
• Assist with billing cycles and support period-end reporting activities
• Develop strong working relationships internally and with external clients
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working

About You:

• Previous experience within a credit control or accounts receivable role
• Good understanding of collections processes and ledger management
• Strong communication skills with a professional and confident approach
• Well organised with excellent attention to detail
• Proactive and able to manage workloads effectively
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team
• Competent user of Excel and finance systems (ERP experience beneficial)
